Who is Hagan O’Reilly?   When my wife, Mary Claire and I decided to follow the family tradition and open an authentic Irish pub, we considered several names.  We thought of our families in Ireland. My wife’s grandmother was an Egan, and my grandfather was a Cassidy, and we are proud to say that there are many pubs in Ireland with those names to this day. But when it came to naming our pub, we decided to pay tribute to our fathers, Hagan and O’Reilly, and begin our own tradition right here in Orlando.
What is a Traditionally New Pub Menu?   You’ll love our tasty, traditional Irish pub foods, but sometimes you might be in the mood for something more special – and we’ve got it! Our unique “Pub” menu is a mouth-watering line-up of full dinner selections with a fine dining flair (without the white tablecloths!). Choose from inspired creations such as Dunquin Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb, Salmon Dingle Bay or Smilin' Eyes Filet Mignon. Preview our Traditionally New Pub Menu now. Join us for great craic and great food.
Authentic Irish Pub You’ll find our passion for authenticity in every detail at Hagan O’Reilly’s, so much so that when you walk in the front door, you’ll feel as if you stepped across an entire ocean and reunited with old friends. Since my wife and I come from a long line of pub owners, we recently traveled back to Ireland to research as many pubs as possible as we made plans for Hagan O’Reilly’s.  (It was a hard job, but somebody had to do it!).  All of the best pubs, especially in Galway, had a common trait: each was built by Billy Mulcaire, a master carpenter and pub builder from County Clare, Ireland.
Special Events Join us for our top of the line entertainment both inside and outside.  From live Irish music, sports on 18 screens, darts, ping pong and Trivia tournaments.  And you cannot miss our annual St. Patrick's Day Festival lasting days!

Stoneybrook West golfers and locals of the Irish descent mix and mingle while chilling at this authentic, Winter Garden pub. This hidden emerald gem is tucked away in a strip plaza away from the hustle and bustle of Colonial Drive and features a mural of Ireland, shamrocks, a coat of arms and the homeland’s flag. The exterior windows also resemble stained glass. Old pictures, black wrought-iron kettles, books, a staircase, Irish beer memorabilia, a dark wooden bar and tables and chairs add to the cozy ambiance. Entertaining distractions include high-definition TVs, pool, darts, ping-pong and Guitar Hero.

Great Place For Everyone

Several ways to enjoy authentic Irish food and drinks. Great place for families to play the game, if you an avid sports junkie, or you just want a nice quiet place to dine. -The outside patio/bar area is a bit more upbeat atmosphere with lots of flat panel TVs around the bar, 2 pool tables, a ping pong table, and a foosball table. The fam & I went there on a Sunday afternoon and found a nice crowd enjoying the NFL games. -The inside was a toned down considerably for the more peaceful dinner crowd. It was hard to believe I has at the same place. My wife had the shepherds pie and loved it. I had the irish stew which was the best I've had anywhere. The kids loved the had fish sticks and chicken finger. Service was excellent as well.

Central Florida Restaurant Mom

I guess Winter Garden must be emerging as some sort of urban hotspot now. There is the new Winter Garden Village and now, Winter Garden's very own Irish Pub - Hagan O'Reilly's, at the intersection of 545 and Stoneybrook West Parkway/Hartwood Marsh Rd. The space is beautifully and fully decorated with an intricately carved indoor wood bar, a large outdoor patio with it's own bar, a main dining area with a large map of Ireland painted on the ceiling, small rooms with their own themes such as Cassidy's Cottage with stonework and a fireplace hearth, and then stained glass windows all along the front. We sat in the main dining room which is bright with small 4-person wood tables and an alcove for live Irish entertainment. Although it is a pub, kids are invited to come until 10 pm and they even have a kids menu.

There are lots of drink options on the menu (naturally since it is a pub) including many Irish and English draft beers and bottled beers, plus American beers as well as combinations such as Half & Half, Gold & Tan, plus wines and whiskeys, and full bar, too! I chose an Irish Harp on draft one time and then a glass of riesling the next time I went.

For an appetizer, we got the beef bits ($9.95) which was tender pieces of beef stewed in an ale gravy with carmelized onions and served with two pieces of bread to sop up the flavorful sauce. Not sure the portion was worth the $10 price but it was very tasty. Next time I tried the Boxty potato pancakes ($7.95)... yum! Three large potato pancakes mixed with bits of corned beef and topped with a savory, but not too spicy, horseradish cream sauce. It was definitely delicious and I've ordered it as my appetizer every time since then.
